Summer is just around the corner so I'm kicking off mine a little early and hitting off one of the surfing spots in Real Quezon! Real Coast and Surf.

Approximately a 4-5 hour drive from the Southern Metro, this spot is located in Barangay Malapad, Real, Quezon. The place is available in Waze and that's what we used to get to this place.
This place will really give you a break from the busy life in the Metro as they don't have a good reception or signal for networks in here. Save your insta stories for the day after! Just enjoy the view, the beach and surf up!
When we arrived on a Friday, we were the only guest checking in that day. We had secured a cabana reservation for 2 a few weeks before getting here via their website which I will mention at the end of this post.
The cabanas are colorful and clean! The cabanas have a hammock, picnic table outside, beach chair, pillows, small table inside, and cushions. Tent pitching is also free for those reserving for cabanas.
The good thing being the only guests on that day is you get to have the beach all to yourself. You can sit on the beach chairs outside the cabana and just relax while looking at the waves and the sunset as the day ends. You might want to save your energy for surfing the next day.
For those in the Surf Camp (they have hotels located differently from the cabanas in the Surf camp), bringing of food is allowed. So that's what we did. All you have to bring are your kitchen tools and food. They have grills that you can use. In case you forgot something, there are stores outside the Surf Camp where you can buy food and drinks. Corkage fee information are available in their website. So as the day ends, we cooked food and had some drinks to ourselves while listening to the sea waves. By the way, before I forgot, I have to mention that they have accommodating staff and the common bathrooms are clean. Its really a plus that we're the only guests as we all have those to ourselves! They also have parking spaces in the Hotel of the resort. Just a few meters away from the Surf Camp.
The next morning is 'fcors dedicated for my insta worthy photos. So I'm gonna dump here some of the insta worthy spots in the resort!
After taking photos, its time to surf! Rentals and Surf Guide re available of course. Just go to their reception area to ask for availability. So, since I''m a beginner and this is is just my second time to surf, I need a guide and since there aren't much guests still on this day, I was able to get one easily. The surf guide/ trainer will teach you the basics and even some advanced techniques to successfully surf on your own. Of course, they will be there as well while you surf. I have a very patient surf guide and on that 1 hour, I was able to stand on the surf board and get some decent surfing videos and photos for my insta. Really kudos to my surf guide for being patient and teaching me well. If you are afraid as a beginner, your guide will usually just give you baby waves enough to carry you until the shore without you panic-ing too much. LOL.
Some photos of where I was able to stand or pretend to stand on my surf board... :P
My legs were so tired after surfing. Some waves are crazy so also be careful of incoming waves. I was hit by my surf board one time and knocked me down, good thing I was close to shore line. But it was enjoyable at the same time. When you are able to stand on your first try and was able to do it again a couple of times, it felt rewarding.
So, I will say that this place is really for those who wants to get out of their busy lifestyle and just enjoy the waves and for those who wants other options on surfing spots just a couple of hours from the Metro. This place is very recommendable. So without further ado, below are their official Facebook account and website. All the information you need are here. Reservations, accommodation, directions, corkage fee, inclusions, payment method, everything! They have a very responsive Facebook account. You can just message them and they will respond swiftly.
